When I’m depressed it’s so hard to do even the simplest things to take care of myself. The first step of recovery for me is always doing small acts of self care. If you’re having a tough time do something to take care of yourself by making this anti depression breakfast for the next tomorrow morning. This is a stupid simple recipe, all you do is mix everything in a jar and let it sit overnight then add fruit and toppings in the morning. ANTI DEPRESSION BREAKFAST
½ cup old-fashioned oats
½ cup milk
½ teaspoon maple syrup
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
fresh fruit, almonds or other nuts
