I love to make a big production of a night in. I’m talking about having the ultimate pamper night. Here are my favorite affordable things to do for a self care spa night. I think pamper nights are a great thing to add to your self care routine. Download my free mind, body and spirit worksheet below.

Beverage

Make your favorite hot beverage of choice to start getting cozy AF. I love a nice cup of peppermint tea. If you’re not in the mood for a hot try making a detox water. Add some of your favorite fruits and flavors to your water. I like cucumber and mint. The longer you let the water soak the better but try to make it at least two hours beforehand.

Here are some combinations you can try:

Strawberry, cucumber, lime and mint

Lime, ginger root and basil

Lemon, raspberry and rosemary

Orange, blueberry and basil

Clean

I like to cleanup my house so I can wake up the next morning feeling really refreshed. I always wash my bed sheets because getting into clean bed sheets at night is my favorite thing. I’ll also give the house a quick vacuum and make sure all the dishes are done. Having a clean environment makes all of this feel even more luxurious.

Bath

I’m so obsessed with baths I take one almost every single night. If you don’t have a bathtub you can get a foot bath. I’m obsessed with Dr. Teals and I use their bubble bath and epsom salts. They are better than any of the fancy stuff at Sephora but they’re seriously cheap. I also like to burn some lavender oil in an essential oil burner and light some candles. I’m a huge fan of audible (go here to get two free audio books for signing up for a free trial). so I usually listen to a book while I soak. Right now I am reading You Are a Badass at Making Money: Master the Mindset of Wealth and I really recommend it if you’re looking for some financial motivation. While I’m in the bath I use a sugar scrub to exfoliate my skin.

Here’s an easy sugar scrub recipe:

1 cup white sugar

1/4 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Spa Time

I like to put on a movie to watch while I do a face mask and paint my nails. I like to use the nailpolish. I get it from walgreens but you can also order online.  The have a good color selection and it’s cheap AF. I like to mix up a super simple face mask. Here are some super easy two ingredient face masks you can make for different skin types.
