Happy Friday! I hope you’re having a great holiday weekend.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about transformation and how I was actually able to change my life. The thing is there’s no point of “arriving” on this personal development journey I’m on. I’m continually processing and expanding in different ways and I’ve been able to uplevel my life many times over.
Recently, I had a huge breakthrough in my life and my business. Well, first I almost had a BREAKDOWN and then I had a breakthrough (that seems to be the case a lot doesn’t it??). I was regularly working 15 hour days and I kept taking on more jobs and projects.
Eventually, I decided to hire an assistant to help me with some of the work I’m doing. This had been in the back of my mind for a long time and it was something I knew I needed to do but I kept putting it off.
When I look back on my journey the things that I knew I should do but kept putting off were the most transformative. When I finally took action and started doing the things I had been putting off everything changed in the best ways possible. The funny thing is that the actions I needed to take were fairly clear. It had been in my mind for a long time to try ______ or start _____.
That first step really can be the most difficult.
What is between you and your next level?
Sometimes these are big daring acts but so often they’re small tasks that trip us up and keep us stuck. Really simple habits like going to the gym every day and cutting back on alcohol made a huge impact in my life over time. Slowly the steps I’m taking are moving me towards the way I want to feel and the life I want to live.
I had been stuck in my business for a long time, I knew something needed to change but I kept putting off taking action. I wanted to share this story in hopes that it inspires you to take some action in your own life.
What have you been putting off? How can you take the next step?
I did a whole Facebook live about this over in the Radical Transformation Project Facebook group you can check out below if you’re interested.
