I am obsessed with Danielle Laport. I use her book the Desire Map to set my goals and intentions for the year. If you’re looking for a really kick ass way to set some goals checkout the Desire Map.

I have read this book several times on the beach. It’s an easy read and it always gives me a boost to get shit done. If you need an uplifting pep talk and a good dose of optimism for the future checkout the Fire Starter Sessions.

This book is from the author of Eat, Pray, Love. I know there’s a lot of divided opinions about that book but I loved it and have been following all of Elizabeth Gilbert’s work ever since I read it. This is a great book if you are looking to feel inspired and creative.

If you want to feel more connected to the world around you this is the book for you. I felt incredibly uplifted after reading it and found it to be a really comforting way of looking at the world.

I am obsessed with Audible. I normally don’t read that many books but I’ve been able to finish a book a month using audible. I always listen to it while I’m doing the dishes and when I’m doing my makeup in the morning. They will give you two free books just for trying it out .

Blog Stuff

I use Blue Host to host my blog. If you want to start a website I recommend using them. I don’t have any experience with any other companies but I haven’t had any issues with Blue Host.

I had no idea how to start a blog when I first started so I signed up for a handful of trainings to try and figure it out (I’m still learning a ton). The best training I took to learn how to blog is Building a Framework The Ultimate Blogging Handbook. This training has the same amount of information as other courses I have taken that cost five times as much. It’s a great value if you’re looking for something to help you get started.

Fabfitfun is a subscription box that sends you beauty, lifestyle and fitness products. This is a fun thing to get if you’ve got some cash to splurge on some treats for yourself or someone else. I don’t order these every month but I like to get them on my birthday month.
