Right now I am curled up on the couch with the worst damn period cramps and I feel like everything sucks.

Sometimes when you’re depressed or sick or whatever all you can do is Netflix and chill by yourself on the damn couch.

Here are some suggestions if you’re having a bad freaking day check out this list of my favorite things to watch on Netflix when I need to cheer up.

I like cheesy TV shows and romcoms (stop judging me!)

so if you’re not down with that this list is probably not for you. These are my favorite cute AF and happy shows to watch when I want to zone out in front of the TV for a while.

New Girl

I love Zooey Deschanel and this show is usually mostly upbeat and puts me in a good mood.

Thirty Rock

Liz Lemon is one of my favorite TV characters of all time.

The Office

I always put on The Office whenever I’ve had a completely crap day and I want to feel better. I just find this show very comforting.

Parks and Rec

I love all the female characters in this show.

Hart of Dixie

This show is super cheesy but I like to watch it when I just want to watch something cute.


Bring It On

I love watching movies from the 90s and Bring It On can always make me feel better.

13 Going on 30

I don’t even know how many times I’ve watched this movie but the number is definitely embarrassing.

Magic Mike

Dancing shirtless dudes and a cute love story!



Bee Movie

Kids movies are another one of my favorite things to watch when I’m depressed AF.

Arrested Development

This show will always make me laugh.

Gilmore Girls

This is probably one of the only series on TV that I have watched all the way through. I will always love this show.

Crazy Ex-girlfriend

I just started watching this and I thought it was pretty damn funny.

Haters Back Off

I think Miranda is such a funny character and I love this show. It’s so different than everything else on TV.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitt

I love all the characters in this show.

Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23

This show is so funny! If you haven’t seen it go watch it.

Grace and Frankie

I love this show about female friendship.

Freaks and Geeks

I don’t know why but I really like watching shows about groups of friends in High School

The ultimate 90s movie!


I don’t actually watch that much TV but sometimes when I’m having a shitty day I’ll curl up on the couch and watch one of these shows.
