Managing Your Mindset When You’re Stuck at Home

Hello,

I’m really excited because there’s a new episode of the Radical Transformation Podcast up! 🎧

I got out of the habit of regularly recording and publishing it but I’m getting back into it. It means a lot to me that so many of you have asked for me to bring the podcast back and I want to thank all of you who have listened and supported it.

If I’m being honest with you quarantine has had a lot of ups and downs for me.

I’m choosing to look at all of the challenges that have been coming my way as an opportunity to work on my mindset and see things differently.

💛You can always choose a new thought. 💛

💛You can always shift perspectives. 💛

💛You can always decide to see things differently. 💛

The truth is thinking about how hard this year has been was just making me unhappy and not changing anything about the situation.

I also realized I needed extra help during this tough season and I’ve hired a new life coach and added even more sessions with my therapist.

It’s OK to get extra help if you need it.

I already know someone is getting ready to reply to this email and tell me they can’t afford therapy.

To you, I would ask how can you support yourself during this time?

Could you start going for walks in the evening? Writing in your journal? Making healthy meals for yourself?

There are always ways you can take care of yourself and the opportunity to feel different is always available to you.

Yes, it can be hard at times.

I understand that.

I just want to remind you that hard seasons don’t last forever and they often teach us valuable lessons.

If you’re struggling choose to take extra good care of yourself.

Love yourself deeply.

Soak up all the lessons and get excited for the brighter seasons of life ahead.
